Espirit could accommodate 11.1V, 3.5T motors, which is SUPER to run in the Unlimited Class. Want to “go green” while enjoying the violent ambiance of speed? Espirit is definitely your best choice!

Gear Differential:
The Espirit is equipped with gear differential, which is better for drivers who are fond of the excitement of speed (could be even faster than a 1:8 nitro on-road car!) Gear diff saves you time and effort from frequent maintenance when the diff is properly built. The gear diff also provides stability for cars when entering a turn. In addition, it increases the car to on-power steering which is necessary on most types of tracks.

Linear Steering System:The linear steering system creates easy and flawless adjustment. Ackermann could be adjusted simply by changing the position of a screw! Such steering system enables you to drive Esprit with ease and keeps the car sharp while under absolute control.

Pivot Ball Suspension System (PBS):
With the pivot ball suspension system, you could adjust the caster, toe-in, toe-out, and camber directly without the need of any remove. PBS makes your adjustment simpler and more accurate.

Battery Holder:
The front and rear eccentric design of battery holder could grip battery packs of different size. In addition, the powerful magic felt tape holds the battery tightly to prevent the batteries from moving while racing and crashes.

Narrow Chassis:
The design of Espirit features the extremely narrow chassis, which fits well for LiPo batteries. All the electronics are placed into the centerline to display the perfect balance of weight distribution and weight transfer. The chassis is 84mm wide and machined from premium 2.5mm graphite material.

Front Anti-Roll Bars:
The Espirit contains standardrear anti-roll bars and shovel type front anti-roll bars, allowing easier and more precise adjustment

GP into EP Compatibility:
Basing on the nitro Spirit platform, the tuning of Espirit is similar to those of nitro Spirit. Easily adaptable for nitro drivers who would like to try entering into the electric touring world.

VDS Body Mount:
Distinctive from other 1:10 EP Cars, the rear body mount of Espirit could be mounted with both VDS style bodies (touring style optional). Says who electric car has to be in touring shape? What’s the hot issue this season? Definitely Espirit!!!!

EDMA's new body shells!!

EDAM won the 2nd and 6th Place in 2011 Malaysian Shepherd Cup

News from Spain: 1 st position in the championship of the province of Cantabria

Edam's new tech of body shell!

After many fail attempt and testing, Edam had successfully master polycarbonate (PC) materials for body shell forming manufacturing ability, this allow color decal can be done through printing process and meanwhile leave open the window area to be transparent. Unlike the traditional technology where window sticker are required to make it “look like” window. This new technology will apply to Edam products that will ultimately benefit the market. Edam will be displaying this body shell at Nuremberg fair 2011, please come and visit us at Hall 7A/F-182.

2010 PDNR Le Mans 2.4 hour Race by JPM Racing Australia

The 2010 PDNR Le Mans 2.4 hour race was held on Saturday 4th December 2010.
The Field was limited to 20 entrants but as there was rain predicted through out the week
There were only 10 registered, with one pulling out on the day due to the wet track.
At 3pm on the day club members worked frantically to blow the track dry and by 4pm
The rain had stopped and the track was slippery but dry enough for qualifying.

The race was allowed to proceed as the track was dry at the beginning of the race .
There were 5 classes this year
LMP1:1/8scale/1/10 235mm /1/8 Edam ExerRTR
LMP2: 1/10 Open Tourer ~ Lola Body
GT1 : Pull Start~ GT Body
GT2 : 1/10 Nitro Kit Sedan/Sports body
EP : Open onroad electric open body


The EP electric class was being combined for the very first
Time with gas powered cars.
JPM Racing was running it’s prototype 1/8 scale electric onroad car for it’s very first race
This car is a joint venture between JPM and Edam and will be ready for production in the new year.

After about 20 minutes into the race the heavens opened up and it rained all night.
Boy did it rain!!
Most racers would have given up but not the Penrith crowed. Even spectator didn’t give

It was a matter of who could keep the electronics of their cars waterproof. A task that proved impossible for many.
It was quiet remarkable that the JPM electric Laser was able to finish at all when you consider that the car is all electric and water with electrics don’t mix
All the top runners were failing and at the end it was the Red Bull team driven by Knight, Rossiter and Isaacs that won the race.Well done , that was a great effort in such bad conditions.

JPM Racing team finished a credible 5th even though there were car that finished with more laps, but under the Le Mans rules you have to cross the finish line within 90 seconds of the finish to be given a position otherwise you are deemed as DNF.
